Are you really having a hard time seeing the big picture here?  I think you are more intelligent than that.  It  would not have been a big deal if the entire team had taken off, but for the coach to abandon the team, go on vacation, and expect his team to continue give their blood, sweat, and tears while he is laying on the beach somewhere???  What kind of message does that send to his team, especially he being a first year coach?  How can he now expect the team to go all in?  He obviously isn't all in.  How can he expect the players to have any respect for him now?  It's sad.

So what you are saying, is that the new coach, cant trust his players, to continue on doing what they should to get ready for the season without him present, while the asst coaches run things.

I guess I was wrong, you really aren't smart enough to see the picture.  BTE, don't ever meant my mom on any post ever again.

I see the picture just fine, a coach that probably had a summer vacation planned before he even took the job, went on vacation after school got out and before the season started, assigned volunteer workout plans to an assistant coach while he was gone.  

God forbid he have a life out side of football, a family, any other thoughts but football.

Like I said, you are not smart enough to see the big picture.   If he didn't want the responsibilities of being the head coach, he should not have taken the job.

Being a Head Coach = cant take a vacation, got it. 


 You going to go after other head coaches that missed practices in June too?  I mean like state championship winning coaches, who missed practice taking kids to college campus for unofficial visits? Do they get the big picture, they missed practice.
