This district will be wide open this year. After rolling through district play undefeated the last couple years, Shelby Valley will have to recover from heavy graduation losses in 2024. Shelby Valley will be without record-setting QB Russ Osbourne, as well as his top 3 receivers in Bentley, Fields, and Cook. After being a pass-heavy offense the last several years, expect the Wildcats to return to a more traditional ground attack this fall.

Hard to predict how this district turns out. One could make an argument for SV, Betsy Layne, maybe even Pike Central to win it.
