Make what official?  How they took so long to hire a replacement?
They interviewed yesterday and have a recommendation for the position.  Site base has to have a quorum so they cannot meet until Friday.  At this time of year it’s already a late start.  So they took a while bc they had to allow time for people to apply.  It’ll be a good hire.  Politics were left out of the process.
FYI: Politics are NEVER left out.
