What I do know is he took a job at the federal prison in Inez and he is currently working there. Everyone I have spoke with who work at the prison said it would be next to impossible for him to be the head coach and work his schedule at the prison. If he does leave, I don't know who they would even go after. I've been a part of or been around Prestonsburg athletes all of my life, and it's at an all time low in my opinion, and it starts with the parents and administration.

I can tell you from exp, that working in a prison, especially a new guy you wont have time to coach any sort of sports, let alone HS sports. I worked in three prison systems and retired from the federal prison.. New guys have no seniority and almost no say on what shift/hours they work,unless their job is outside security and even then its still tough.. I took me years to get away from shift work, .. Even after I was promoted to a job with to day shift and weekends off , you still end up covering shifts and working overtime..  Its not a job where you can just tell the boss "sorry I have practice".. Don't work like that
