You Magoffin people have a hard time understanding so let me explain it like your 6 years old. No-one is on McCoys back at all. The point is wherde weas the support before. Even with coach Brown, NO SUPPORT. Mabey Brown could have been successfull if he had a little more support. Mabey with a little SUPPORT, Brown could have had a winner. Why didn't you have support before now. For you the fan, Who obviously never had history 101, Little big horn, Custard vs. the Sioux, Well Custard had a better chance pal. I've said more than once, McCoy is the best hire ever at Magoffin. Where was all this so-called SUPPORT before now? Good chance it might have made a difference. Says alot when you say we'll support this guy but before who cared. Mabey, Just mabey the lack of support before is part and I say part of the reason you lost. No matter who your coach was, You should have supported them, no matter If it was 1 season. How does coach Brown feel when he got no support and hung in there for a long time and now Support is comming out the ass. IT'S A MIRACLE!

TWO-FACED, Best word too describe you. You support a reputation not Maggoffin county football. Go back and read, We support now, They support now, The support is here now. Where was it before? Where will it be in 2 or 3 years when you don't accomplish the so-called tv series miracle? I'll tell you, The same place It was when Brown was there. NO-WHERE. What a crock. The only supporters will be the jock-straps in about 3 years. You support nothing.

I think you are somewhat misunderstanding what the posters are meaning by support. The support they are talking about is from the high school principal. Everyone knows the principal before couldn't care less about anything. This principal does, and because of that has coordinated with the board of education and put unlimited resources in place for a long term plan for football success. If Dayne Brown (who is one of the best coaches around) had the same opportunity he would have already been overwhelmingly successful. It is not an issue of bandwagon, it is an issue of timing. It just so happens that Coach McCoy was hired by the new progressive principal. Coach Brown was coaching when the old principal was there.

Also, no one is saying Magoffin County is going to be 10-0 this year, next year, or the year after. They are going to fight hard to win every game, but we know that reality says they could very well be 0-10. No one is expecting him to do anything miraculous but we know that he will put a team on the field that will be disciplined and respectful (and i mean respectful in the terms of yes sir, no sir, well behaved young men). From all indications, he is doing a great job. His team is extremely young and his underclass numbers are pretty high. I think they have around 36-38 kids out right now.
