Cal was never given any such thing. His contract runs through mid '29 , I believe. If he chooses to not coach after this season('23-'24), he can still draw a salary (I'm wanting to say it's around 900K) as an advisor , if he so chooses. Either way, coach or advisor his contract is up in June of 2029. That might seem like a lifetime to the naysayers, but's it's nothing of the sort. Readers, quit believing everything you hear online.
