Hounds stage a furious fourth quarter rally at Manchester, cutting a 13 point lead to a single point on a Worley three with 7 seconds remaining. After two Clay FT's, Curry gets a good look from three at the buzzer that would have sent it to OT.   Corbin had another poor shooting night, hitting just 35% from the field. Other than Jackson, Clay was brutal from the foul line down the stretch.  Coach Keith and Coach Hicks are turning over in their graves at the quality of basketball being played by the two schools that have combined to win nearly half of all the 13th region titles .  Either Clay or Corbin(or both) have played in exactly 75% of all 13th Region title games. Got news for you... neither of these teams is going to be winning a region title any time soon.  Two lousy teams.

The Hounds loses two in a row and if memory serves me correctly the Hounds got Great Crossing next and will be three losses in a row. These losses will help the Hounds more than people think and I still say the Hounds cut down the nets at the arena…

When I guy says these losses will help us on down the line, it’s like whistling by the graveyard.  Nobody really believes that but losers.  Losing develops doubt.  Tony is no the same coach as he was 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. I think he is tired and I just don’t see the fire from him or his teams like I used to see.    Clay and Corbin used to be a game everyone circled on the calendar to go watch, now it’s just another Tuesday night game.  There is change on the horizon not just for Corbin but the 13th region in general.  The 13th has produced some great teams and players, but after this year who is going to be the next Noah or Sheppard or Farmer.

There are a ton of average teams in the region which will allow some of the blue bloods to continue to shine but the sun is setting

It’s sorta like scheduling weak teams in football regular season and always get the wins and then playoffs starts and you get beat by a better team because you weren’t prepared. When you schedule tougher teams in regular season and take a loss or two it always prepares your team for playoff run. I’m guessing you must assist Greer with his scheduling because win in regular season but get beat in playoffs. I’d talk about losers if I was you buddy, we all just witnessed the most expensive Region Runnerup in the history of KHSSA…I’d say Tony keeps Crawford on the bench to chap Greers ass..

Tommy must have the largest staff in the history of high school football. You know you can get help for the fixation on Greer and his ass.

Just a casual observation from a feller who has watched a lot of 13th region sports.
