Breathitt is supposed to be the top team in regional from Mt. Top 10 and a D-1 player and Honeycutt record is 12-8. Needs to go back to girls coaching.

You are awful hard on honeycut for some reason. First off I’m not defending him but want to point out some factors to this team. There is not a legitimate D1 player on this team and he has three first year starters with little to no experience playing with little to no help from the bench. His son can shoot the ball but he couldn’t guard a stump. Collins off the bench is as weak as boones farm wine. Hamilton and Bellamy haven’t provided much spark lately and when they don’t produce this team struggles. Let’s be honest terry and gross aren’t offensive threats and that leaves sperry and besides his attitude he’s all they have offensively. So for what Honeycutt has to work with I think he’s doing the best he can. I think if he had the 22/23 team he would have won the region back to back. I’d like to hear what you think he could do different.

I agree with most of what you say, although Terry and Gross have been pleasant surprises in my eyes.  I think Gross gets better every game.  Hamilton needs to become more assertive on offense.  I wouldn’t give a nickle for Bellamy.  He’s a turnover machine.  Also, I think he’s the real attitude on the team. Hazard starts 0 seniors. Breathitt starts 4 seniors and a fifth year Junior. Hamilton is a senior, Sperry a Junior. Yet , Sperry is a year older. lol
