LOL!! This is your take on the game?? 3 & 17 guess they should kneel it with 1:47 and risk a punt block? You've obviously not watched enough high school football to see some of the crazy things that can happen. It was only 14-0.

Another victim of growing up watching mercy rules. Here's a tip for you, stop watching sports all together.
My take on the game? Pikeville dominated from start to finish. Even on Racelands best drives of the day they were still no threat to score. The few good drives Raceland did put together was because of penalties by the Pikeville defense and Raceland still couldn’t come close. So to say that call was made because of fear of Raceland scoring two touchdowns with a minute to go is laughable at best. I’m sorry my post offended you so bad though. It will be ok.

No sir, not offended. I laughed, that's why I started with a "LOL x !!" You're the one offended over a reasonable play. It shows you really don't know much about sports calling the play in that situation "laughable at best". Championship teams seal games not extend them.

As for the game, I didn't think Pikeville dominated from start to finish. Their defense was stout but I thought Raceland's was too. Pikeville turned them over and got the sacks was my biggest take on it. Offensively, Pikeville broke off two big TD runs and took care of the ball. Raceland had more first downs and had more sustainable drives but squandered their redzone opportunities. Flip the turnovers 3-0 in favor of Raceland and they win this game 90% of the time.
The play that I thought changed the flow of the game was when Raceland fumbled on a direct snap and lost 10 yards.  Raceland was driving the ball well and when that play stalled the drive it killed the momentum.  Raceland had opportunities to score on other drives as well but Pikeville’s defense stood strong and did what championship teams do and found a way to win.
