Because 1A is trash lol. Eastern KY football is weak
Multiple state championships from multiple schools in the last 10 years says otherwise.
Also in the last 2 weeks Raceland and Pikeville went and cleaned house against the Lexington and Louisville area Class A teams.  I also think Class A wasn’t terrible this year.  Middlesboro, Campbellsville, Sayre, and KCD were all solid teams and overall the Class A playoffs were the best that I’ve seen in several years.
