With the evolution of so many media outlets I see numerous pictures of high school athletes being used in advertising, even heard talking of new vehicles being loaned/provided for elite area football & basketball players. While talking with a parent last week he ask me if it was legal for businesses to use his kids image in an advertisement without him or his kid being ask for permission.
My question is if an athletes image appears in an advertisement for a business is that athlete allowed to be compensated?
