When healthy …..Belfry is a very good team. No way good enough to win a title IMO….. but…good enough to win the district… and advance relatively deep into the playoffs, depending on the RPI wash out. It’s unclear how healthy they will be come Friday night. I know they’ve been playing with 5-6 starters out of the lineup….including their QB.

If Belfry is reasonably healthy…..They should win. LC hasn’t played any where near the schedule the Pirates have. Both teams appear to be a little loose with the ball….so that could be an issue. Penalties have also plagued the Pirates. They had 3-4 TD’s called back last night due to senseless penalties.

So…how healthy will Belfry be? Will TO’s and penalties end up being a factor? Does Varney return from his injury and resume his QB role?

Those are the questions. Friday will provide the answers.
