BOWLING GREEN, Ky. Police have made two arrests after a 38-year-old Bowling Green man was bludgeoned to death with a baseball bat.
Officer Jerry Corbitt says 38-year-old Lee Johnson was found dead in his apartment just after midnight yesterday. Officers who discovered the body were investigating a report that police needed to check on the welfare of the resident.
Corbitt says Johnson had been hit in the head several times with a baseball bat.
Officers arrested 23-year-old Christopher Hackworth and 21-year-old Tonya Ray, both of Bowling Green. Hackworth is charged with murder and Ray with complicity to murder.
Both are being held in the Warren County Jail without bond.
