It’s our heritage and gives us a sense of pride outside of the horsing industry. We are put on the map for certain things and this is one of them. Good or bad it’s still important to our state and culture. Of course it’s not important to others and many but for those ones that want to talk about it in a negative way on a consistent basis probably aren’t very happy about things to begin with. Teaching kids to hope, dream, work, have honor, sacrifice, know discipline, reach goals, etc. are many of the attributes I feel are important that Kentucky Basketball can bring. So yea I’m my house it’s important. Maybe those things we teach will transpire to careers one day kids will hopefully enjoy! So many couch coaches these days lol
