Final the Valkyries win their 3rd straight championship. They finish the season at 34-3 and were undefeated against Kentucky teams and yet according to RPI they were the y2nd best team in their region. Go figure. Congrats to Sacred Heart a heck of team!

And they will win it again for the next two years. MVP Johnson is only a sophomore. Benton I believe is also a sophomore. And news a few days ago had one of the best young guards in Kentucky transferring from Male to Sacred Heart and will be a freshman. She will step in and replace Sacred Heart’s only senior, Ralston, the great defensive and play making guard that graduates this spring.
