Maybe it was scheduled for the purpose of having the sweetheart ceremony, I don't know, but one thing is for sure, it was a total embarrassment. Nothing against the kids from Ligon, but when a high school boys basketball team schedules a team with two girls, and other kids who looked to be in middle school, it definitely isn't a good look. Also, when did teams start cancelling games due to a couple of kids being sick? I always thought it was next man up. It's also a bad look for Pikeville. One would have thought Pikeville would have had the NIL funds to go out and recruit a couple of kids to fill in for this game! It's an embarrassment all the way around.
