A UK student has died two months after being shot in a home invasion.
John Mattingly died at UK Hospital. The 23-year-old Marion County man was shot in the face while trying to fight off two robbers at his home on Elm Tree Lane back in May.
One man, Adrian Benton, has been charged with the crime. Another suspect, Raymond Wright, remains on the loose.
