New information in a shooting investigation in Scott County.

A 19-year-old man now faces charges for accidentally shooting his girlfriend at a home on South Rays Fork Road in Sadieville.

The sheriff's department says Justin Lee Barlow was cleaning his shotgun when it went off hitting the 17-year-old girl in the thigh.

She was air lifted to the UK hospital. A Neighbor told us she's in stable condition. Barlow is charged with wanton endangerment.
