I don’t see Perry Central being even close to the team they had last year. The three starters who graduated were all key players. It’ll be a big undertaking to coach up last year’s reserve players enough to replace them. But I still think they have enough firepower to make it to the region semis and maybe even the championship game. I think if Breathitt County gets in peak condition and picks up their defensive intensity to match their offense they will be the favorite to win the region.

Slone was all district and all region 2 year ago at Knott, he’s a solid player, averages 10-12 per game and has good size, started at Knott last 2 years, and Mcalarnis coming out is huge as well.  Not really role players
