Watched the hounds yesterday at Lynn camps field. The boys look focused. Only answer I get when I ask my son about the game is :
Me: hey boy you and the boys ready for a tough game Friday?
Son: yea
Me: you liking the game plan?
Son: yea
Me: Leg feeling good, ya ready to pin’em deep and make those eagles fly?
Son: yes dad
Me: Boy I’m just trynna make sure you’re ready. This could be it for you.
Son: I know dad.
Me: ya ready to lay some wood to those birds?
Son: what are you talking about old man ?
Me: never mind you idiot
Son: ( cricket , cricket )
Me: are ya gonna miss another PAT. You were only like 10000 for 10000 until the other night. You felt the pressure didn’t you?
Son: let’s see you get your butt out there and do it!
Me: how hard can it be , I guarantee I could
Son: gentleman’s bet. 100$ says you can’t
Me : by god I’ll do or die
