For Mr. Gibson's further edification, recently updated  Massey ratings has JC rated #22 in the state, just behind a Highlands team that was ousted in the second round.  

Corbin is rated #5 , behind only  Fred Douglass, Trinity, St. X  and Male.

There is not much that you could teach me. I am very familiar with Massey and CalPreps. Last season, you boasted that Corbin was ranked #2 in all classes. How accurate was that ranking? What difference do rankings make when a head-to-head game is only a week away? None. 

Johnson Central has a young team with plenty of experience in the backfield. Maybe they are a year away from another appearance in the state finals or maybe Friday night's game will get them one step closer. All I know is that where Corbin is ranked will not make any difference in the outcome of the game. The winner of the Boyle County and Lexington Catholic game should be favored to win 4A, IMO, regardless of who wins the game in Corbin.
