Johnson Central does not pass much and never have. They have been in the state 4A finals in 6 of the past 7 years and won two titles. If they fail to win the title this season, it will not because of their passing game, it will be because their opponent is able to contain the top rushing offense in the state.

Johnson Central has not been as effective passing this season as in some past seasons. Their quarterback has a strong arm but his completion percentage could be better. In most seasons, JC rarely passes but often averages 30+ yards per completion, with a high percentage of completed passes ending in a touchdown. This season, they have had more success with short passes to their running backs.
