If he gets eligible (KC will fight this tooth and nail), what will he do after the basketball season? North will go back to being pretty regular once Reed and Davidson roll out.

I have watched 13th region basketball for the better part of 30 years and then some. Been a lot of great players. I believe Richie Farmer Reed Sheppard have been two of the best I've seen at taking games over. I do think Sheppard is probably the to date best to do in the 13th. But in the last few years their have been some good ones. Taylor from Corbin was pretty awesome. Broughton at North is in there. Fox from Jackson. I will say i like several of the teams. Even watch the freshman and middle school 13th region teams. But if you think North will be a pushover when Sheppard and Davidson are gone you are very wrong! Sheppard was on a undefeated middle school championship team. And now two more squads are at north high both having won Middle School championships undefeated. One of those two almost repeated. Yeah Yeah i know its middle school, BUT it speaks greatly about what's coming down the pipe. And i also will say the serious coaches know this. My Boys at Clay have also have jumped in to stepping things up at their middle school programs and have some great sophomore and freshman players now at the high school. Davis at South is doing the same and Sizemore at Bell. The game has advanced! Time/hard work and a little luck will tell who the next stand out will be.

Middle school championships?  Undefeated?  What are you talking about?  Reed was injured his 7th grade year.  South beat North in 13th region middle school tourney at Whitley.  Whitley County won region over South.  Reed was playing for high school his 8th grade year and Ryan didn’t play because he held back.  Whitley over Knox in 13th region tournament that year.  I also watched North lose on their home court that year.  With that being said, North’s sophomore class won the KBA 6th grade state and the groups behind them are even better.  North has bright future, but let’s be accurate.
