For me it is sad to see what this game has become because I played when it was a very bitter rivalry.  I played during the Chris Jennings era and the rivalry then may have been more intense that the McPeek years because the players on the field didn’t like each other and there was a lot of personal beef in those games.  I also think their 03 team would have crushed any of the McPeek teams due to their depth and having one of the best running back duo’s to come through the 16th region with Chris Jennings and Stephen Crisp.

No disrespect but there is no way Fairview will hold Raceland under 40.  Raceland scored 42 in the first half against Betsy Layne and I can’t see this game being any different.  This is one of those games that you just want to get through without any injuries from either side.
