Ashland self-reports possible recruiting violation to the KHSAA

Ashland recently turned Ironton in to the OHSAA for allegedly using ineligible football players. They are reaching across state lines to get players ruled ineligible. I wonder if they are expecting their player to return in time for the playoffs if the OHSAA rules him ineligible to play for Ironton. Doing this while awaiting KHSAA to decide an appropriate punishment for Ashland's head basketball confessing to recruiting multiple players during a recorded phone call shows where Ashland's priorities are. I cannot think of a single Kentucky high school with a longer and better documented history of hypocrisy than Ashland.

But you're probably right. Ashland is like a bird dog feasting on leftovers from the hunt.
