Relax, folks. This will look drastically different in 6 weeks.

Actually it might not change too much.  I was looking at the schedules for several of the top RPI teams and it is very possible for several of those teams to win out the rest of the season and Raceland and Pikeville may have to travel in the post season as a result.

but you have to look at who those teams are playing. Raceland will get good points from Greenup  Lawrence County wins. As will Pikeville with the teams that they’re playing. If the teams ranked above Pikeville and Raceland are playing teams that won’t give them much RPI points everything should equal out to where Raceland and Pikeville will be on top of the RBI

This is also assuming we win both of those games.  I think the possibility of an upset exists against either of those teams particularly Lawrence County.

I really don’t think so. I seen something in this group at Highlands. This group loves the competition. Last year they would’ve quit after getting smacked in the face just like the Pikeville game. They didn’t quit after that second quarter. I believe this group will come to play every week.

I agree with you about this being a scrappy group.  I really do like this group of kids but years of being let down by Raceland football have made me cynical and it’s hard to get my hopes too high.  I’m not really too worried about Greenup but I think think Lawrence County is a team that could possibly beat us.
