I’m just honest trying to wrap my head around the whole situation and see it from both sides. When equal opportunity is given to all school districts to hold kids back and one doesn’t do it but blames the other school for doing something that’s legal is baffling to me. It’s a situation yet again in this country where we try to make others live their life by the same convictions and views that one group has.. Nothing illegal has happened nor will it happen. Russell decided not to pass the rule so kids can hold back for covid. Are they gonna not play every team that has a covid hold back? Why doesn’t Russell refuse to play Raceland in all other sports? These same kids play other sports at Raceland but it’s only in football that there’s a issue. I do know this….TJ felt as if the Rams ran the score up on them and he was butt hurt. I don’t think Mike ran up the score. It was 21-7 at halftime and Raceland was almost down 14-0 in the first quarter. When the clock started running the jv went in and scored another touchdown. I believe Russell made a mistake when they decided not to allow kids to hold back for covid. I think k they have regrets now.

The funny thing is TJ was on the other side of the table after Russell chose not  to play us after 2012. After seeing that I would have never expected him to turn around and repeat history 10 years later. I have a lot of respect for TJ but this is such a weird move.
