Can’t wait to see new dist north will be in and what teams they pick up to play

Will north be in 6A

North looks to remain 5A while Knox Central is looking to go down to 3A, the question out there right now is where will Corbin end up? Hearing a lot of chatter Corbin might be headed to 5A. Bell will remain 3A word has it.

Boy if that was the case  North, Corbin, Southwestern, Pulaski and Whitley would be a nice District....

South Laurel in district also. Would leave two teams out of playoffs if that were to happen..

I honestly am not a fan of everyone making the playoffs if you are a 1-9 team. This is a prime example of where there needs to be someone in the KHSAA who looks at a program like South Laurel on the football side of things and says something like this: South is a below .500 team and hasn't been competitive in there 5A district and even though they have the numbers to be in 5A they are actually a 3A,1A or 2A team...... Now thats my opinion.. But having two teams not make it is like Johnson Centrals district where they have 1 team every year who doesn't make the playoffs and has to win to get in..
