North Laurel was rocking on defense when I watched them in person against Boyle County.. North was healthy and had all there weapons..

I was told by some very reliable sources that the North team was without a big part of that defense when they went to Log Mountain......
If North is healthy, I do not look for a running clock early in this game... I talked to some Knox fans and they told me Bell was legit.... Well North went toe to toe with Bell with about 4 players not playing on defense...

So saying all that, if North is healthy I look for North to make this a closer game than a train wreck like a 1st quarter blowout.. Now if Johnson Central comes in and does that to this North team then 4A had better buckle up...... This train will be hard to stop... But if North can put a dent in the running clock by a few quarters or maybe hold off a running clock then it tells you that North is better than some are saying.. Then 4A might be a little closer than some might think.

I hope that the North Laurel game is competitive. Johnson Central's schedule appears to be quite a bit weaker than last year and it would be great if some of their opponents have better seasons than expected.

Hoot, North looked unlike what I expected when I saw them.....North looked like a solid team...Bodies flying to the ball on defense.. Now I don't look for Johnson Central to lose but if North can make it competitive thats huge for North...But the big question for me will be the offense for North.....The play they scored on was a pass made just before the sack and the defense had broke down and when the pass was caught it was to the house. Now Boyle defense was able to keep North in check and mainly the QB for North was out of the pocket running all over the field...... Got to get that offense going and against a team like Johnson Central thats easier said than done..... But defensively they was better than I thought, now they will make JC work but for how long, that will be determined Friday.... Hey thats a game, and unlike alot of teams who won't schedule JC at least North is willing to schedule that game...
