Ouch, looks like I got my prediction slightly mixed up. Instead of winning by a field goal, Trinity only scored a field goal. Moeller just dominated on both sides of the ball. Trinity's defense tightened up in after Moe put up 13 points embarrassingly quickly in the first quarter, but it wasn't enough with the way Moeller's defense throttled the Rock's offense all game long. There were some miscues and mistakes that need to be corrected going forward and I heard some other Trinity fans grumble that another QB should be given a shot at the position, but all-in-all I think Moeller was just that strong of a team.
The next game is against Center Grove [IN] who also beat Carmel [IN] although their margin was a bit slimmer (31-27) so the schedule doesn't get much easier for the Rocks, but at least next week they'll be home instead of having to travel again.
