This happens in high school more than what some may think. There is a high school team I have noticed over the past few years that always has 75 to 100 or sometimes even more yards reported than what their opponent reports that they gave up. It also happens on the defensive side of the ball as well. I've seen stats changed after they have been reported because a parent complains.
