If state or national records are broken I believe the film has to be sent in to confirm the stats and records. Otherwise i don’t think anything will happen other than most people can look and compare team stats on KHSAA and see what each team reports as earned and allowed. Normally if they are within 25-50 yards I’d say it’s okay but when one team reports gaining over 100 yards than the other team reports allowing you can pretty much tell stats are being padded. To me it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things because the best teams don’t need to pad stats.
