I just think for a total rebuild of a program you don't bring back former coaches.
I know without a doubt he knows football, but this late in the game coach McCoy has to get some coaches. I'm just saying most football programs that are trying to rebuild bring in all new personel.I mean they were bad last year but they didn't lose to Betsy lane. Magoffin had a ton of talent 2 years ago and only won 3 games.
If I'm building a house, I don't use the same lumber from the old one to build my living room. You get my meaning. I go out and buy all new wood. I think to rebuild you go all out and bring in an entire new staff and I think within 4 years you will see an improvement.Grayson has already been there and done that and I'm not saying he's a bad coach. I'm saying start new 100%.
Exactly, this late in the game being the key. McCoy was hired late, I'm sure he's racking his brain to come up with a competative staff. And when "building a new house" so to speak, you may use the majority of new lumber but you may use your old deck. See where I'm going with this. When Matney rebuilt Johnson Central, he kept some of the old staff seems to be working well for him. It's good to have someone around who already knows the kids and knows there abilities, that's were Grayson comes in. You can have all the potential and talent in the world but if they're not dedicated to the cause as a team you can forget about it.
