Of course there are obvious candidates, and I hope the politics don’t get in the way with the hire. There are people in other peoples ear that control the decisions….let that Sink in.

Murdock- young smart and lives in Prestonsburg, from Prestonsburg and graduated from Prestonsburg. Has ties.

Hopkins - great guy, great coach. Should be considered. He don’t play favorites and he makes people mad, but players develop.

Ratliff - moved around from Ashland to Paintsville, won’t even tell his boy to come to Pburg to play for him. He’s not a long haul coach. If I coached at a school, you better believe my boy would be at that school showing the same respect. Not a good hire for the long haul.
