[Huck Fin]

To me this is a head scratcher. Especially with the team Breathitt will have next season.

Why would anybody want to stay where their not wanted? Now, loaded senior class with no coach, breathitt is in a pickle.
Rush and hire a warm body so they can have a summer program and retain those players or try to hold out to see what option presents itself for the best coach available.
Seniors and any kid with dreams of competing after high school tend to be less willing to go blindly into an uncertain season. Also, some of these kids and parents have made remarks about other kids and parents that may become a factor. Jackson is a small community and everybody knows everybody. In every group there will be someone there that will be loyal to whoever is the target of the day.
The blame game will bite you in the rear sometimes if your not careful. But I do agree,with the roster they would have had and what the rest of the region looses, breathitt would be sitting as a favorite again in most people's eyes. Why is a good question to ask King. So, scratch away.

Idk what’s going on at beathitt but for parents to go to the board and speak out against noble I would have never seen that coming..idk what more they want they won all a region and made it to the finals in state and then won district at Wolfe over Wolfe..just from watching mostly all their games he let the kids have a lot of freedom when it came to the offensive end..when you got that much talent on 1 team someone is got to sacrifice for the better of the team and if parents don’t see it that way it don’t matter what coach they get parents or kids won’t be satisfied.

I couldn't agree with you more. But,they wanted a region title but more importantly they wanted there child to be the hero. Daddy ball will destroy a teams chemistry in a second if the kids will listen. Coaches and parents have different views alot of times and should discuss that like adults. When what the kid hears at home is negative and especially when it involves those kids teammates , most times that isn't going to end well unless the team is just better at every position. Team chemistry is fragile. Parents can ruin it directly or they ruin it through there children.
Really, what else was the man supposed to do? Everything he was trying to do was being undercut by those close to the program. What has taken place at Breathitt is sad.
Other schools should take note.
