Congratulations to the Pikeville Panthers on their incredible season.  The best season in the Panthers historical history. 

 In what was a good Regional tournament. I think the Lc vs Pikeville matchup was the best two teams.  Unfortunately it was in the first round.  Some teams Pikeville was just head and shoulder better than and others seem to fall apart at the end.  Overall a good season in the mountains.  

We saw a lot of good basketball this season in the 15th.  The most talented it has been in the last several years.   We will say good bye to a lot of good players.  The East Ridge seniors, The BL seniors,  Fugate and Tharp at Paintsville, LC seniors, Dingess at MC and Hall, Worrix and the other seniors at Pikeville.   A few others I’m sure i forgot to mention.  These kids have been mainstays in the Region the last 4-6 years.  It’s been wonderful watching them compete.  Because if COVID we get to see Samons and a few others again next year.  

Just wanted a thread to conclude the season without all the bashing and celebrate the talent we’ve got to watch the last few years.
