If I’m Pikeville I’m rejoicing…. Give me lawrence county and Martin county over paintsville and Betsy layne any day because of the way they match up with the panthers.

Lawrence County is a very disrespected team all year. I feel as if no one has really talked about them and if they get hot from 3, they are terrifying.

My response to that would be I don’t know that Maynard and company can consistently get good looks against worrix and the panthers great defense

Martin county hasn’t terribly matched up with pikeville in the two meetings during the early regular season. MC is peaking  more than any team in the region right now. Paintsville may be the best defensive team in the region as proven when the played pikeville shutting them down and then holding Johnson Central to 31 points in the 1st round of districts at their own place but they had no answer for the Cardinals scoring abilities in the championship game.

I think Pikeville matches up very well with LC especially with Johnson out and idk if they can guard Pikeville. Panthers have beat Martin by 16 at MC and 22 I think in the All A.  MC is playing very well and beating a team three times in a year is hard.  MC has an interesting matchup with Belfry that I’m excited to watch. Pikeville had their worst shooting display at Paintsville which is very tough place to play.  A neutral site game is much different.  This years tournament could be the best one in years.
