Clay athletics started tumbling into the abyss about 6 or 7 years ago when the school board "Cleaned House", they threw a bunch of babies out with the bath water, ("Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" is an idiomatic expression for an avoidable error in which something good is eliminated when trying to get rid of something bad, or in other words, rejecting the favorable along with the unfavorable.)

It's horrible for the kids who deserve so much better.

So the school board started this sh!tburger ?  People need to realize when they elect school board members how their voting will affect the lives of kids, not only in the classroom but on the athletic fields of play as well.
