This game was an absolute basketball clinic. I just dont see many teams in the state of KY that can beat Pikeville if they play like they did in this one. The defense and the energy of this bunch is just off the charts. Harlan is a GOOD team with a lot of athleticism, but Pikeville just had them chasing their tail. The panther defense has been there all year but when they shoot like they did last night they are a handful. Sammons got hot, Nick Robinson kinda does it all, Worrix controls the pace of the game and makes every player on the court better, Manns is a hard nosed defensive guy, Jarrel is a very consistent shooter, Walters does the small things that nobody else wants to do. You put all that together and its a dangerous mix. You even saw Hughes come off the bench and shoot the ball well. Just an outstanding effort and team.
