3A State Championship: Belfry vs. Paducah Tilghman

Not far behind is "the refs robbed us of a win." At this point in the year, there will be injuries. There may be a disciplinary absence or an academic casualty. (When PT won the title in 2009 - something like 15 players (many of them starters) had quit or were dismissed during the year.) It's all part of the game. For whatever reason, it is these two teams that have prevailed over all this to meet Saturday. There may well be better 3A teams that are not playing. But they all had their chance. They all lined up and got to compete for a slot in the championship. These were the two survivors.
agreed 100%

Both teams earned their way to Saturday.   Much respect from Pond Creek for Paducah Tilghman and the tradition and talent they bring to the game.    Should be a good one
