Is Young playing for Belfry?
I agree I think this game will be closer. Most teams that are good teams, and I think Lawrence is a good team, can get overwhelmed by Belfry’s size and physicality and just how fast their lineman get off the ball the first time that you play them. I think they’ll be more prepared for that this time but at the end of the day I think Belfry is just too big and too physical. It’s tough to contain Dixon an entire game… I like Belfry by 2-3 TDs.
And actually it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Belfry in the Semifinals. I really don’t know much about CAL, Bardstown or whoever else may come out of the West, but anyone from the East is surely beatable by a fired up and healthy Belfry bunch. Good luck Pirates!
