Gas prices have risen mainly due to refinery issues, plus OPEC and Russia decreased productionin 2021, so yes it is supply and demand.  It definitely has nothing to do with the Keystone Pipeline.

This country became a net petroleum exporter under Trump and prices dropped sharply over the course of his administration - even before the pandemic struck. Some fluctuation in crude oil prices because of natural disasters, etc., are natural, but it is not merely a coincidence that Joe Biden has been part of two different administrations with similar energy policies when gasoline prices reached their highest points of the past 30 years.

The damage that liberals like Obama and Biden do to this nation's economy and energy self-sufficiency is long-term. Their actions always contribute to speculation that future prices will rise sharply because of artificial decreases in the supply of affordable energy. Every idiotic attack on energy producers has an impact on the price of crude oil, and that definitely includes the cancelation of projects like the Keystone Pipeline.
