The Democrat Party does not have any moderate Senators. Socialists have firm control over the party and Senators like Manchin and Sinema are liberals who belong to a socialist party. It is so strange to see a straight party line Republican voter* make post after post supporting a party dominated by socialists.

what are talking about Hoot? Manchin and Sinema are your kind of socialists.  You know the ones that take advantage of govt. subsidies and send more breaks to the cooperations.

Corporations are nothing but associations composed of people, Cardfan1. When you raise taxes on corporations, you raise taxes on their shareholders, employees, and consumers of their goods and services. Demonizing corporations and advocating their punishment through higher taxes is stupid, but it is what liberals and socialists do on a regular basis.

Socialism never helps Americans. As Friedman said, there is no such thing as a free lunch and as Lady Thatcher said, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Maybe some day you will come to the realization that most Dems are not Socialists.  You may want to consider taking a class in economics and quit getting all your knowledge from Facebook.

I understand economics very well. I made "A"s in all of my college economics courses and found them to be among the easiest classes that I took. I have also watched countless economics presentations on Youtube, most notably by Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell. As for socialists, I am of the "if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck" school. If you support socialist programs, such as those proposed in Biden's $3.5 trillion spending bill, then you are, in fact, a socialist.

As for Facebook, I have an account and login to it a couple of times each year. I have never discussed politics on Facebook. Your allegation that I get any information from Facebook is absurd. I have never trusted Facebook or its pimple-faced founder, Mark Zuckerberg. For a Republican straight-ticket voter*, I am shocked that you would believe that a conservative uses Facebook as an authoritative source of political or economic information. Are you sure that you want to stick to the story that you are a Republican?
