Biden never had a mandate. He won a rigged election.

The latest Rasmussen poll shows that 56 percent of Americans disapprove of the job that Biden is doing and 48 percent strongly disapprove. Biden spent all of his political capital through his extreme incompetence. The only Democrat candidates who will be welcoming Biden in the next year will be those running in the deepest blue states or districts, where he cannot possibly cost them an election, which means he will be spending a lot of time in his basement in 2022.

You need to quit harping on the rigged election crap, I'm pretty sure your more intelligent than that.

But progressives don’t have a mandate from voters, and they can’t make anything happen on their own. The 2020 presidential election settled this, when the unexciting centrist Joe Biden squashed firebrand progressives Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren in the Democratic primaries. In the general election, moderates and independents were key swing voters helping Biden oust incumbent Republican Donald Trump.

Democrats need to come to this realization before the infrastructure bill, which is  greatly needed, dies.  Manchin is not going to give in, and probably shouldn't.

Progressives are trying to get their shots in with America.  These are the platforms where they are popular with a good many Americans, and I’m certain they are hoping this will score them some points in primaries.  

in the end, Pelosi will reign in her progressives and Schumer will reign in his if the Dems want to keep at least one house of Congress in 2022.

Pelosi is a socialist. The people you are referring to as "progressives" are actually communists. In other words, Democrats who advocate a Marxist system like Castro founded in Cuba, where almost everybody is equally miserable.

You have not read the bills and none of the far left-wing politicians who will be voting for them have read the bills. I have not read the bills nor do I have any intention of reading them. What I do know is that Joe Biden is lying when he claims that the bills will not cost anything because huge tax increases on the rich will pay for them. Nobody with half a mind believes that whopper.

Please do not lie by claiming that you have read these bills that you support, but you have not read them, then why would you criticize me for not reading them? Deficit spending and a heavy tax burden drive inflation. The inflation rate is already out of control, so anybody who support more taxing and spending should prepare to be attacked as the inflation rate and the misery index approach Carter-era levels.

If Republicans cared as little about this country's well being as you do, they would just sit back and let the Democrat Party self-destruct by allowing them to implement their socialist agenda.
