John Bolton is a guy who hates Trump and has a huge ego that far exceeds his intellect. Bolton would not have paid for a poll that showed Trump with a huge lead over DeSantis because Bolton wants to see Trump clearing a lane for the presidency that he, Bolton, can fill. Bolton is not a bad guy but he is a very ambitious man who I doubt is electable to any high office because he comes across as an arrogant intellectual. This is what Trump would call, and has probably already called, a fake poll.
