I'm expecting an approval of a stop gap spending plan to avoid a shutdown, but no new debt ceiling measure.  This should alleviate some of the financial damage, although you may still want to move some of your 401K to something very conservative because the markets will drop considerably.

If it was me I would call Mitch's bluff let it sink
