North playing a loaded schedule again this year. Everyone Knows how good barren county is. Traditionally they are a football powerhouse. Look for it to be a good game!

I think you're overestimating the Jag's "loaded scheduling."

• CalPreps has NL's Strength Of Schedule ranked 32nd (of 39) of current 5A schools in the last 20 years.

• Barren Co. hasn't won a playoff game since 1992 and have had a winning record four times since.

• Barren Co., like Grant Co., are 5A sized programs that have been in such rough shape in the last five years that they dropped out of District play for a bit. North Laurel has scheduled both.

• If a school has more than 725 boys and is scheduling 2A teams like Prestonsburg, Middlesboro, and Walton-Verona ...

Well they won’t be playing Middlesboro anytime soon, I’d be willing to bet…
