Ole Bobby won’t take this one lying down. He’ll try and have a better game plan next time.

Part of that game plan had better be figuring out a way to get hits off Estill’s Junior pitcher Emma Winkle. The Lady Engineers are 12-0 and only given up 14 runs all season while scoring 94 runs themselves going into Monday’s, 4/19 game with Wolfe Co.

You are Absolutely correct lookayanner!!! Winkle is on fire right now. Shutting down batters right and left. Plus, that team hits...PERIOD! Region is at Powell this year, so if fans are allowed, they will have a good following being in neighboring county. Estill has never been without a stud pitcher year in and out. In more times than not, they have the best pitcher in the region. I think they run production lines up there spitting out flame throwers! Bobby and Benny better get a good game plan ready for the 14th region tourney if they want to have any kind of shot shutting down the heavy hitting Engineers. This may be their year winning games at state.

Haven’t seen Johnson Central or Pikeville play yet, but they are normally very good. North Laurel got beat by Bobby and the commodores the other day, so not sure about them now. Ashland and Russell might be the best in the 16th.
