Clay and Corbin have the most storied histories in the 13th region,  winning almost half of the regional titles( Clay- 29 , Corbin- 15).

I want another  Corbin - Clay  final  !!!


FUN FACT:   What was the highest scoring 13th regional  championship game?  There were   184 points scored in the game.

 1992:   Clay 104    Corbin   80  .  Clay came into the game ranked #2 in the LIT ratings , averaging 92 ppg ,   and Corbin came in averaging 89 ppg and ranked #17 in the LIT ratings.   Corbin came into the game  31-5   and Clay  30-3 .  Clay went on to beat Ballard and Franklin Simpson in the Sweet Sixteen before falling in a close game to Lex. Cathloic.

The Hounds had ousted the Tigers the year before in the semis 72-57 , snapping the Tigers' string of seven straight regional titles.
