Trump only wanted to do the $2000 check because he thought that it would help him in the election.  It was common knowledge, at least to those who had any common sense, that the Senate would have never passed it.

Trump said yes. Pelosi said no. That is the bottom line. If Pelosi had been certain that it would not have passed the Senate, then it would have made Trump and the Republicans look very weak going into the election. There is no reason to believe that a clean bill would not have passed.

There may be 20% of the country who actually believe that.  I guess you are part of that faction.

Trump said yes. Pelosi said no. Everything else is speculation on your part. I don't see any gray area there at all. Pelosi never gave McConnell a chance to shoot down Trump's proposal. Those are all facts. Speculate all you want but it won't change the facts.

If illegals got checks in the first and second what's changed about the 3rd stimulus bill
Nancy passed her 2nd bill in may Dear Leader and Mitch dragged there feet waiting right before election to try to do anything
